Delete your account

You can request deletion of your GDT Tower Tenant account and the personal data associated with it at any time.

Option 1 — From inside the mobile app

  1. Open the GDT Tower Tenant app and sign in.
  2. Go to More → Profile.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Option 2 — By email

If you no longer have access to the app, email gdtapp@tax.gov.kh from the address registered to your account with the subject line “Account deletion request”.

We may ask you to confirm one or two details from your account before we process the request, so that we can be sure we are deleting the right account.

What we delete

On deletion we will permanently remove or irreversibly anonymise:

  • Your profile (name, email, phone number, job title, photo).
  • Authentication identifiers linking your Apple or Google account to ours.
  • Push notification tokens registered to your device.
  • App preferences (theme, language, favourites, recent searches).
  • Visitor pre-registrations you created as a host.

We will retain only the limited security and audit records that Cambodian law requires us to keep, in archived form not used for any other purpose. Records created by other people in your tenant company (for example a meeting your colleague booked and invited you to) are not deleted, but your name is removed or replaced with a generic label.

Retention timetable

  • Profile and authentication data: your account becomes inaccessible immediately on request. Personal data (name, email, phone, photo, sign-in identifiers) is permanently anonymised within 90 days. During this window our support team can undo the deletion if you contact us by mistake.
  • Visitor records you created: visitor names, photos and ID captures are deleted on the standard 12-month visitor retention schedule (see Section 8 of the Privacy Policy), or sooner on request.
  • Tax and accounting records: retained for 10 years as required by Cambodian law, in archived form.
  • Security and audit logs: retained for up to 90 days.
